2. Simple Present 현재형

: happens all the time or repeatedly

ex. This coffee shop opens at 10:00 A<

: Something is true in general

ex. The earth goes around the sun

: 빈도를 나타내는 경우

ex. I usually play tennis two times a week

: Promise, Apologize, Suggest, Advise, Insist, Refuse, Suppose 동사는 Present Continuous 가 아니라 Simple Present

ex. I promise, I won't be late. (not I'm promising)

: like, love, hate, want ,need, prefer, know, realize, suppose, mean, understand, believe, remember, belong, fit, contain, consist, seem

--> not normally used in present continuous form

ex. I want something ( not I'm wanting)

Ann doesn't seem very happy(not isn't seeming)

cf, 주장 명령 제안 요구 동사 + that 절 안에는 항상 simple present
